This is a set of 6 original vintage Bakelite door handle rods from the Soviet era (USSR). These items are highly sought after by collectors and artisans for their rich color and material, often referred to as "Faturan" or "Catalin".

The handles show a beautiful marbled mix of brown and yellow/orange tones. All pieces have through holes, a feature that makes them ideal for stringing as beads or for various crafting projects. They are ideal for restoration projects, but are more commonly used today as raw material for crafting unique beads, bracelets, and rosaries.

Condition

Normal vintage condition with clear signs of use, as expected for their age.

Defects: All handles have scratches and chips (visible in photos).
