yamaha fg-500j 1974 Black Label

I purchased it at a musical instrument store last September and kept it in its case, hardly playing it.

I am selling it to organize my equipment.

I think it is a rare species that does not circulate much on the market.

It seems to be a very well-sounding individual with very good balance from low to high frequencies.

Body shape: Yamaha original jumbo (large body close to dreadnought type)

Top: Solid Spruce

Sides & Back: Coral Rosewood laminate (rare material at the time)

Main tune-up points

・All frets have been replaced with slightly thicker and higher ones. More than 90% height!

The neck is slightly warped, to a degree.

2.5mm/2.0mm at 12F. There is also plenty of saddle height.

Since the frets have been replaced, there is plenty of room on the rod tightening side.

The pegs are also dull, but tuning can be done without any problems.

There are scratches and dents due to aging, but considering the age, I think the condition is good. There are some dents on the back of the neck, but it is smooth.

There are various black labels, but please enjoy the deep sound and crispness unique to the top-of-the-line western size model!
