This antique locket dates circa 1900 and takes two pictures.
Made from 9ct back and front. This means the two decorative panels are made from 9ct gold whilst the rest of the item (the main skeletal frame and inner frames etc) are gilt metal. This manufacturing process was used up until the 1950’s. The locket is market ‘9ct gold back & front’
The panels are beautifully decorated with hand engraving and the cartouche is blank.
All the inner frames are present and the locket is in good condition
