The Roughriders finished the season 8-8 for fourth in the CFL’s Western Conference, missing the playoffs. Canadian Football Hall of Fame quarterback Ron Lancaster lead the league in passing yards with 3,072. Running back Molly McGee led the league with 68 receptions and wide receiver Steve Mazurak has a third best in the league 978 yards on receptions. Offensive guard Ralph Galloway was named to the CFL All Star team.
