Framed antique cross stitch alphabet sampler with multiple colored cotton thread stitching on linen cloth. 

Has multiple sizes of the alphabet and numbers on top 2/3 of piece. 

Bottom 1/3 of piece has crowns with initials (possibly a family tree type of depiction?). 

Castle, trees, baskets, bird, person with a hat next to the castle and hearts with crowns on top.  

Bottom right heart has the number 21, but the bottom left heart has no visible numbers. 

This is a very old sampler, but no visible date can be found.  

Origin unknown, but possibly from England with the crowns?  

Framed in wood with glass.
