How to Extract Essential Oil

• Check if the pear shape separatory funnel is leaking.
• Pour the mixed liquid into the separatory funnel and place the funnel on the iron ring to stand.
• Open the piston of the separatory funnel, and then open the cork, so that the lower liquid (water) from the lower end of the separatory funnel outflow, until the oil-water interface and the upper mouth of the cork can be cut when you can close the cork.
• Remove the essential oil with a glass dropper.

How to Extract Rose Dew

• 1. Prepare 100 g/0.22lbs of rose petals and 200 ml/6.76 oz of water (if you want to extract a thicker dew, you can add less water and more petals), then put them in a container, add a little salt and mix well.
• 2. Use a match (not included) to light the alcohol lamp and wait a few minutes (the alcohol lamp heats up slower) for the water to boil and the rose petals to lighten in color.
• 3. The steam after distillation into the condenser tube tailpipe out, pure dew production success.

Notes

• Before use, please fix the base nut of the iron frame table, adjust the position of the cross-frame table and iron clamp, and connect the distillation flask with the condensation tube.
• Please note that the position of the sink should be higher than the plane of the condenser tube, and fill the inside of the condenser tube with water from the inlet pipe with a syringe of about 30ml/1.01oz.
• Connect the latex tube and loosen the stop clamp of the outlet of latex tube, the water will flow out automatically (siphon phenomenon principle).
• Please allow the slight color difference caused by the shooting light and the 1-3 cm error due to manual measurement, and make sure you do not mind before ordering.
