I saw the hoist operate up and down with no load before unhooking it from the air supply. It was loaded into a box (plastic bag zip tied around air supply fitting to keep dirt out). Everything I know about this item I’ve stated above. There is no warranty on this item so please make sure this is correct for your application before buying. I used a lift identical to this for 12+ years at a buddies shop, his didnt have the hand held control. His had the two pieces of rope you pulled, for up and down. It was the most reliable piece of equipment in the whole shop. This item is very heavy, between 60-75 package for shipping.
