You will receive quantity (1) one fully assembled wall mount, (1) wall anchor & screw. Select the desired quantity of mounts from dropdown.
These wall mounts are perfect for handcrafted wood display boxes as shown in pics. They are stained and polyurethaned. They can be sanded and painted or sanded down, re-stained and polyurethaned to any color you like.
These wall mounts have 3 inches of vertical (up and down) adjustability, allowing you to install your decks in a straight horizontal line on your wall. You can easily swap out, or shuffle decks around while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing look without drilling new holes in your wall.
If you have smaller decks, "mini's", or early 80s stub nose decks in your collection, nothing, is more agitating than having it hang higher than the rest of your decks, throwing off the straight line and ruining the look.
These mounts also make it easy to install decks horizontally when they have a “landscape” oriented graphic, eliminating time-consuming measuring. Note: You will need two (2) wall hangers to mount decks horizontally.
The mounts come with 2.5-inch screws which extend 3.15 inches from wall. (long enough for most decks).
The center-to-center measurement for the 2 screws is 1.61 inches. Most decks are in the 1.61-to-1.625-inch range. As with any mount that use 2 screws to hang decks, you may have to slightly manipulate the screws with your fingers to widen or make narrower to fit the truck holes (minimal pressure applied).
Installation instructions:
1. Determine how many inches down from the ceiling you want to install the mounts. You will also want to determine how many inches apart to install the mounts across the wall horizontally (12 to 14 inches center to center is common).
2. Drill a 1/4-inch hole in the drywall/sheetrock for each mount location.
3. Press the plastic anchor into the drilled hole in the wall. The anchor will have a slight lip that sticks out proud from the wall. This lip will fit in the recess on the back of the mount making it flush against the wall.
4. Place wall mount center hole over the anchor and use a Phillips screwdriver to install the screw. The front of the mount has a 0.5-inch access hole so you can install the screw.
5. Once the mount is securely installed on the wall, remove the (2) cap nuts. Make sure the wing nuts are tightened securely and put the deck on the wall by lining up the (2) screws with the decks factory drilled truck holes.
6. Once you have the first 2 decks on the wall step back a few feet to see if they are uniformly centered with each other. If adjustments, up or down are needed, REMOVE the deck first. It is CRITICAL that you pull the deck off the wall/mount when adjusting so that you don’t accidentally knock the deck off the wall and damage it.
7. Continue to install all the decks one at a time, adjusting along the way per Step 6.
8. Install cap nuts.
Please hang responsibly. Not liable for accidents, damage, or loss incurred.
