BEAT the four-piece super band with virtuoso talent will be coming to Japan! This 2CD+Blu-ray live album captures a tour focused on '80s King Crimson. BEAT the super band formed by former King Crimson legends Adrian Belew (guitar/vocals) and Tony Levin (bass) along with guitar virtuoso Steve Vai and Tool drummer Danny Carey will perform a North American tour featuring material from three iconic '80s King Crimson albums: Discipline BEAT and Three of a Perfect Pair. The tour kicks off in San Jose California on September 12 2024 with 65 shows followed by a South American tour in Monterrey Mexico on April 24 2025. Additionally the band will perform at Nippon Budokan in Japan on Monday September 1 2025! Also included in the release of Live a recording of the November 10 2024 performance at the United Theatre on Broadway is a part of that tour. The Blu-ray features the entire Los Angeles performance in 5.1 surround sound and stereo as well as bonus interviews with the band. The tracklist for the Blu-ray includes Neurotica Neil and Jack and Me Heartbeat Sartori in Tangier Model Man Dig Me Man with an Open Heart Industry The Sun and the Terror Part III Waiting Man The Sheltering Sky Sleepless Frame by Frame Wait Please Elephant Talk Three of a Perfect Pair Indicipline Red and Sera Han Jinjit. The concert film was directed by Scrote and edited by Scrote Steve Vai (at his home studio in Encino California) Alan Berry Don Adams and others. Bonus video footage was directed and edited by Alan Berry. Additionally Sweetwater captured the footage.
