• The fuel pump meets or exceeds factory specifications and is a direct replacement for your factory fuel pump.
• Please Note: MerCruiser used two different fuel pumps on the (2.5L 120hp) and (3.0L 140hp) from 1983-1989, the 3.7L 488 model used two different fuel pumps in 1983-1984.
• If your filter bowl faces UP this is the correct fuel pump.
• If your Fuel pump Bowl faces DOWN this in NOT the correct pump. (Check compatibility list below)
