NEW FROM BANK ROLL 2 euro coin honoring the 250th anniversary of the National and University Library.

The National and University Library of Slovenia is an important symbol of culture and education in the country. Since its founding in 1774, it has played a crucial role in preserving cultural heritage and providing access to knowledge, and is considered a cornerstone of learning and research in Slovenia.

The obverse design features a detail of the university's architecture and the incription “NARODNA IN UNIVERZITETNA KNJIŽNICA” (National and University Library.) The outer ring bears the 12 stars of the European flag.
