This will NOT fit vehicles that came with the 36-spline steering wheel, this is the 48-spline for 48-spline vehicles only.

Note: Boss kit is 48 spline type replaces steering wheel type C on picture # 3.

Steering wheel assembly that mounts to the steering column boss and transfers the driver's rotational input into the steering column and steering mechanism. 

Its design and fitment establish the mechanical link between the driver and the steering system, affecting road-wheel response and steering feel. 

Correct axial and radial alignment on the column splines during installation is required to preserve steering geometry and to maintain the original steering wheel center position. 

Where fitted, the assembly provides the structural mounting for wheel-mounted components; care is required during removal and refit to avoid damage to the column interface.
