OEM Ford 1967-1968 Mustang Cougar Fender Brace Upper Rear with Clips and Mounting Bolts - PAIR, Ford Part Number C7ZZ-16A005-A and C7ZZ-16A006-A.  These bolt to the cowl to hold the upper fender in place.  All the parts in the photos have been media blasted and professionally hot tank magnesium phosphate coated for years more of service.  They will ship with a light coat of oil that they will eventually soak up into the phosphate.  You usually see these braces painted body color on one side but this is how they came from Ford, just clean off the oil with lacquer thinner before painting them.
