【Item Description】
This is a Fender Japan 1970s reissue Telecaster TL72 (CTL-50R).
Based on the serial number, it was manufactured at Fujigen in 1991-1992.
The neck stamp is "CTL-50R".
CTL-50 is a model that was released from the Squier brand around 1982-1983, in the early days of Fender Japan.
The body material is basswood, the neck is maple with a bolt-on joint,
the fingerboard material is maple, with 21 frets and a 648mm scale.
The head logo is a 70's style CBS modern logo with thick letters and gold trim.
The bridge has 3 saddle pieces, and the strings are routed through the back of the body.
It is equipped with two original single-coil pickups.
The controls are 1Vol, 1Tone, and a 3-way pickup selector.
It has a bright and sharp tone with a thick and airy sound.
It is an attractive Telecaster sound that has been loved by a wide range of genres and musicians.
There are paint chips and age-related scratches on the body, giving it a used feel.
The neck is straight, and about 60-70% of the frets remain.
