Beautifully faded, this charming textile is a vintage French curtain dating c 1940's or just before . This textile has faded to perfection giving that charming aged look that only time can. This textile is trimmed on the right side with a ribbon trim c 1930's . It is backed in a natural cotton with no interlining between the two layers. The front fabric is a medium to heavy weight cotton with plain weave. The fabric is a linen and cotton mix, higher cotton content then linen. This textile would have originally hung as a bedding curtain and the wonderfully aged curtain rings are still hand stitched to the top. ~*~ ( please see my other textile for a matching panel) *~ ~ (UB 290)
