The commemorative coin is dedicated to the activities of the Security Service of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the SBU) and its unique special operation “Web” – an important component of the national security system of our state. The operation lasted about a year and a half and ended on June 1, 2025 with a massive attack by 117 FPV drones on four enemy military airfields. As a result of the strike, 41 Russian strategic aviation aircraft were destroyed. This result demonstrated Ukraine’s ability to conduct high-tech operations at long distances, confirming the endurance, professionalism and intellectual power of Ukrainian defenders. The commemorative coin honors the heroism, ingenuity and technological mastery of the SBU servicemen, who, in the conditions of full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine, demonstrate an unsurpassed ability to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state.
