The blade is crafted from 9260 high carbon steel, oil-quenched and tempered twice for strength (~52Rc). It offers excellent resilience while maintaining a beautiful brushed finish. The hilt furniture is made from mild steel, giving the weapon a balanced, historically grounded appearance.
