I found this gorgeous piece at an estate sale full of other collectible art, pottery, and glass pieces. Several internet searches did not reveal any origin or artist. It is suggestive of being made in the 1970s. I could not find a similar art piece. You will note in the pictures above that the original artist sticker shows what appears to be an inventory or location number along with the original price of $187.

This piece aligns with the current trending styles of Modern Luxury and Biophilic Design. The use of natural, high-end stone, dramatic veining, and unique texture makes it a statement piece in contemporary home decor while maintaining its opulence and drama. The use of vibrant, "rainbow" banded onyx paired with stark black marble creates a striking visual contrast that aligns with a luxurious, high-end interior design. These pieces often serve as conversation starters or dramatic focal points.

It is a collectible item, often found in vintage and antique shops.
