Leica R4 (black) body serial no 1609701 made in 1982 by LP / Leitz Portugal

  • Classic R-bayonet SLR with Program, Aperture-priority, Shutter-priority and Manual exposure.

  • Selective or integral (center-weighted) TTL metering; mechanical backup speed “O” ≈ 1/100 s and B.

  • Bright finder with split-image screen, hot shoe, motor-drive contacts, self-timer.

  • Battery cap present (shown), clean film chamber and shutter curtains; baseplate marked “Made by Leitz Portugal.”

  • Body only (no lens). Not film-tested; sold as photographed.

  • Takes Leica R-mount lenses (3-cam/ROM/R-only). Adapts easily to digital for manual exposure/stop-down metering.
