Rare near complete set of Eleven Sitzendorf porcelain monkey band figures, including a conductor, each raised on a gilt scroll enriched naturalistic base, blue printed marks to the undersides.
Heights range from 9.8cm to 11.5cm
All figures are in excellent condition, without damage.
Sitzendorf porcelain is particularly known for its delicate, hand-painted figurines from the late 19th to mid-20th centuries. Produced by the Sitzendorf Porcelain factory in Thuringia, Germany, the production closed in 2012, but Sitzendorf pieces continue to be prized by collectors worldwide.
