Here is an unconfirmed version of what I think this is..The artist lived in the united states and is not known for many golf pieces. (I couldn"t find any). He was born in 1853 and died in 1925 an is known mostly for predominately. female scenes Look him up.It is my theory that sometime near the turn of the 18th century, early 19th century there was a print shown here.It was framed once and then sustained water damage somewhere along the way.It was rescued by someone who reframed it andt cut a custom border to make it presentable which i believedt it was when i purchased it 40 years as a golf antique. The golf clubs and dress indicate very early golf' I really think that it could be a very impressive piece in an antique or present art collection. I just reduced the price and if you are interested and willing to take a chance I don"t think you will be disappointed.
