"BRAUN Braun SK2/2 Vacuum Tube Radio"
This is a 1959 SK2/2 vacuum tube radio from the German company Braun. The SK series was originally designed in 1954 as the SK1 by Arthur Braun and Fritz Eichler.
The left side is the ON/OFF switch and volume, the right side is the AM/FM switch, and the dial is for tuning. It has a simple structure with all the unnecessary parts removed, but it is a radio with a design that has not faded even today and is even housed in the Museum of Modern Art.

German craftsmen have repainted the case, adjusted the vacuum tubes, and replaced worn parts. There are repair marks on the screw holes on the backboard. This is a dual-band AM/FM radio, but since it is in the European FM band, you cannot receive FM broadcasts. To listen to AM, connect the included antenna and place it in a location with good reception, such as a windowsill. The functionality of the AM/FM switch knob has not been confirmed.
Please be aware that this is an old vintage appliance that is nearly 60 years old, so please purchase with this in mind.
*Since this unit uses vacuum tubes, the top surface becomes hot, so please be careful when using it.
