【Item Description】

Here is an electric guitar that has been modified based on an E-serial Fender Japan Boxer Series SF-455 manufactured by Fujigen from 1984 to 1987.

First, regarding the assembly, the front pickup is a humbucker-sized P90 (7.5Ω resistance), and the rear pickup is a 4-conductor humbucker (14Ω resistance). Alnico 5 magnets were selected for both. The capacitor is the standard orange drop.
The selector is 3-way, and when set to the center position, the rear pickup is wired to be auto-tapped. This reduces the rear pickup's resistance to approximately 7Ω, making it possible to produce a well-balanced single x single half-tone.

The bridge is a 2-point support type, similar to the American Standard Stratocaster.
Also, while general Stratocasters use a boat-shaped jack that is difficult to tighten once loosened, this unit has a jack on the side of the guitar like a Gibson Les Paul, a specification designed with the player in mind.

Fujigen manufactured Fender USA until 1987 (last photo; Source: Wikipedia), so I think it is a wonderful guitar maker, needless to say. On the other hand, the texture of the neck due to the aging of this unit is something that cannot be achieved with current Fujigen brand guitars, so I think Fender Japan guitars from this era are very worthwhile to choose.

This guitar can be said to be a vintage guitar from about 40 years ago, and has battle scars, etc.
