Er war einer der ersten Discjockeys (Beat-Club, Twen Club) in Deutschland und zeitweise Manager und Produzent von Ike und Tina Turner, Amon Düül II, Popol Vuh, Udo Lindenberg, Westernhagen, Patrick Gammon und vielen anderen.

M = Mint (die Platte ist in jeder Beziehung in einem neuwertigen Zustand. Fremdgeräusche sind nicht vorhanden)
/ the record is in each relationship in a new condition. Extraneous noises are missing
VG = Very Good (Die Platte ist gespielt und weist leichte Fremdgeräusche auf. Haarkratzer sind vorhanden, jedoch kaum hörbar.)
/ The record is played and exhibits easy extraneous noises. Hair scratches are present, however hardly audibly.
G = Good (Die Platte ist noch gut abspielbar jedoch schon wiederholt abgespielt worden.
Hörbar sind Fremdgeräusche wie leichte Kratzer oder durch wiederholtes Abspielen entstandenes Grundrauschen.)
/ The record was still well playable however already repeated played. Extraneous noises are audible like light scratches or by
repeated playing background noise developed
W = Worn (Platte ist überdurchschnittlich abgespielt worden. Kratzer und Grundrauschen sind deutlich hörbar.)
/ Record was above average played. Scratches and background noise are clearly audible
F = Fair (Platte ist akustisch völlig ohne Wert, da sie praktisch nicht mehr abspielbar ist. Allerdings interessant aus Archivzwecken.)
/ Record is acoustically complete without value, since it is practically no longer playable. However interesting from archives
purposes
+/- = Die Kürzel + (Plus) oder - (Minus) werden an eine der obenstehenden Qualitätsstufen angehängt, wenn sich die Platte oder
Cover keiner der Qualitätsstufen eindeutig zuordnen lässt. Beispiel: Ist eine Platte besser als VG, aber nicht mehr M, so lautet in
diesem Fall die korrekte Bewertung VG+. Liegt die Qualität der Platte aber noch eher im M-Bereich, als im VG-Bereich, so lautet
die korrekte Bewertung M-.
+/- = The abbreviations + (plus) or - (minus) are attached to one of the above quality levels if the disc or cover can not be clearly
assigned to any of the quality levels. Example: If a disk is better than VG, but not more M, then the correct VG + value is in this
case. If the quality of the plate is even more in the M range than in the VG range, the correct rating is M-.
