Our South Lakeland Blue Slate 5mm to Dust Self-Binding Gravel is a practical, durable, and visually striking material sourced from the southern Lake District fells. When wet, the stone presents a mid to dark blue tone; when dry, it lightens to a pale blue-grey with natural brown inclusions. Once compacted, it forms a firm surface widely used across the Lake District for footpaths, trails, seating areas, and informal walking routes.
The crushed slate fines provide a firmer finish than traditional aggregates, while still maintaining a natural, loose-surface appearance. Deliveries are typically made within 2 to 4 working days from the time of order. The confirmed delivery date will be sent via text message to the contact number you provide at checkout.
On the day of delivery, our third-party courier will send a follow-up message with a rough 2-hour ETA window. If you do not receive this update, please contact us and we’ll retrieve the information on your behalf.
If the proposed delivery date is not convenient, you are welcome to reply to the text sent or message us with a preferred alternative. We’ll be happy to amend the date to suit your availability wherever possible.

All pallets are non-returnable and must be disposed of by the customer
You may cancel your order, but you must notify us within 12 hours of order placement via direct message or by cancelling your order via your order page.
Orders cannot be halted once despatched, as they travel through the courier’s network and are typically shipped next working day.
A full refund will be issued within 14 days of cancellation confirmation. If goods are despatched, our returns policy applies.

If goods arrive damaged or faulty:

We will investigate and, if appropriate, arrange a return or replacement
If there is a quality issue, we will do everything possible to find a solution or provide a replacement
Items must be securely repackaged and placed on a pallet at the original delivery location
Refunds or replacements are processed within 14 days of return receipt and inspection.
