This is an ORIGINAL "THE CHRISTMAS CAROL COTTAGE" (The Christmas Carol Revisted) that was produced by DEPARTMENT 56 and was a part of the HERTIAGE VILLAGE COLLECTION!! This cottage was originally produced in 1996 and is now RETIRED!!! Making this piece rarer to find in such good condition since only a certain amount were made at the time!

This set includes the MAGIC SMOKING CHIMNEY, which attaches on the side and has a timer and a stack of wood as a liquid smoke holder. However, the piece that you plug the CHIMNEY into DOES NOT come with this item. The liquid smoke is also missing and will need to be purchased to test. Other than this, everything is included except the light bulb that goes into the light that goes into the back of the cottage.

This cottage is in EXCELLENT CONDITION  and has no scratches, chips or cracks throughout!! It looks to have been very little used if at all!! The original sign is still attached on the front by the door. The wood stack is in excellent condition with no missing logs.

This piece would be perfect for the DICKENS VILLAGE COLLECTOR, or someone who collects DEPARTMENT 56 CHRISTMAS VILLAGES or just someone who wants to add to their village!!
