This is a listing for a brand new, unopened climbing carabiner from the Black Diamond Magnetron series, which are no longer produced. It utilizes magnetic clasps on either side of the gate to provide it a locking function, which enables it to be both easy to operate while minimizing bulk. Its unique design has led to it attaining something of a cult following. The carabiners listed here are completely new and unopened. These particular ones has dark blue clasps.
It is not recommended to operate this carabiner in extremely icy or dusty climates, as it can make the locking mechanism more sticky and stiff.
