The red ornament hanging loop you see just above the white part of santa's hat is attached to the santa ornament and is what I would use to hang this from your tree.
There is also a gold ribbon around the bell of the santa's hat that you could use, but if you choose to use the red ribbon, you can just untwist the gold ribbon and remove it.
This ornament is just over 12" tall when hanging from the Christmas tree.
