
Rowland Hill Letter 16 May 1842 about the Remuneration of Post Office Guards
Rowland Hill writes My Dear Sir will you allow me to trouble you with a copy of a letter which I addressed to you some time ago and to request the favour of a reply if you see no objection. My object is to obtain a standard with which to compare the remuneration of the Post Office Guards. Similar information been supplied by the secretary to the Birmingham Railway Company.
