The Barolo Brunate 2001 originates from one of the most iconic vineyards in the Barolo area, straddling the communes of La Morra and Barolo. The Brunate cru is renowned for its calcareous marl soils, ideal elevation and its ability to yield wines of perfumed complexity and structural finesse.
The 2001 vintage, considered one of the greatest modern vintages in Piedmont, produced Barolos of depth, precision and exceptional longevity.
The bouquet shows layered notes of dried rose, dark cherry, licorice, spice, truffle, tobacco and earthy nuances.
