To celebrate Valentino Rossi’s 46th birthday, in February 2025 Dainese created an exclusive edition of the Soleluna Vale46 Anniversario racing kit, consisting of a helmet and racing suit, in just 46 pieces.
Only one of these - kit number 1/46 - enhanced with even more unique details, was worn by the Doctor on the track, for a special training session at Mugello. Now this incredible kit is going up for auction to support UNICEF’s Road Safety projects, toward road safety for children.
The Demone GP 3x suit and the Pista GP RR Soleluna Vale46 Anniversario helmet pay homage to Valentino’s special birthday with dedicated midnight black graphics with the iconic golden sun and moon, embellished with details that recall the artisanal gold leaf process. The suit and helmet are numbered “1 of 46”, and signed by Valentino Rossi. The suit features an even more unique detail that distinguishes it from the others in the limited edition – Valentino’s unmistakable turtle, in a brand-new gold version, placed on the shoulder.
The kit is delivered in a custom-made aluminum and plexiglass display case, with a commemorative numbered plaque and certificate of authenticity.
All proceeds from the auction, at the request of Dainese and Valentino Rossi, will be donated to UNICEF Italy to support Road Safety projects, the program that provides the facilities and training needed to make children safer on roads around the world.
The suit and helmet are used by Valentino, show normal signs of wear and are to be considered as display items.
For shipping, the kit will be placed in a wooden crate weighing 55 kg.
