Vintage Kingsley Enamel Box
A hinged porcelain trinket box with an enamel finish
Originally part of a revival of the traditional English enameling art form, which dates back to the 18th century
Hand painted with the Kingsley's hallmark present on the underside
Made in Worcestershire, England

This particular box has a beautiful bouquet on the lid with vines along the outer sides
Inside the lid is a quote from William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream"

I know a bank where the wild thyme blows
Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows
Quite over -canopied with luscious woodbine
With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine
