  • Lionel 9142 Republic Steel gondola. Stenciled data and the big stacked white Republic Steel lettering on a green body. Inside walls have the right rib detail. Perfect for scrap metal, pipes, billets, ingots, machinery, or gravel.

  • Lionel 9026 flatcar with construction load. Blue flat with molded tie downs and a tan load shaped like a beam crib or concrete form. Easy to re stage with pipes, lumber, cable reels, or bridge beams.

  • Wipe bodies with a microfiber cloth and a small amount of mild dish soap in water

  • Clean wheel treads with isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab

  • Add a tiny drop of plastic safe light oil to each axle tip

  • If desired touch the inside of the gondola with powdered weathering for a light scrap film. A soft brush and a graphite pencil make quick magic
