Whether you’re in the circle or trying to get there with a clutch approach, Nate Sexton’s Proto Glow Nexus Firefly is a sharp shooter that’ll save you strokes.
How this batch of Proto Glow Nexus Firefly feel: Flat. Fairly stiff.
More about the player: If you were to pick one disc golf professional to emulate, Nate Sexton is a pretty darn good choice. Not only has he won big events, but he’s also made a big impact from his disc golf teaching, his event commentating, and for just being a kind, approachable dude. Known for always stepping up to the challenge at majors and other big events, his biggest wins came at the 2017 USDGC and the 2018 DGPT Ledgestone Insurance Open and most recently the 2025 US Masters Championship. Sexton has the complete game, but it’s his forehand that’s particularly amazing.
More about the disc: The Firefly is a stable to overstable putter that will provide consistent flight in most all conditions. Similar to the Aviar Putt & Approach disc, but a tad more overstable and wind resistant. On the approach it flies straight with a steady, “mellow finish,” says Sexton. **Originally produced as the P2 (back when Innova manufactured Discmania).
