This is a vintage Mattle 1973 Star Spangled Dolls - Jazz Performers Couple #7945.  Known as Mellie & Louis Harris.  They look to have been displayed only, not played with. His light colored clothing shows some light browning from age and display. His hip joints appear to be tight, probably not been moved since production, so I am not going to force the issue.   Otherwise they look very good, all accessories - trumpet, shoes, hats are all in place.  See the pictures.
