This “Premium Edition” pendant features a luxurious Silver925 top, meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans. The mysterious sculptural beauty of Japan’s National Treasure Dogu is condensed into a compact size of approximately 15mm, creating a special piece that exudes the elegance of fine jewelry. The motif depicts two Jomon-era Dogu designated as National Treasures.
“Venus of Jomon”® No. 4638656, with her full, rounded form, symbolizes life and vitality.
“Masked Goddess”® No. 4638654, wearing a mysterious mask, represents rebirth and mystical power.
Both were excavated from Jomon archaeological sites near La Forme’s atelier in Chino City, Nagano Prefecture, and are now exhibited at the Togariishi Jomon Archaeological Museum. This piece transforms prayers from 5,000 years ago into contemporary craft jewelry. Each form is carefully shaped with permission to use the official registered trademarks, and the brilliance of Silver925 breathes modern life into the ancient sculptural beauty of the Dogu.
The finish combines delicate mirror polishing with antique-style shading, highlighting both the unique shine of silver and the three-dimensional presence of the Dogu. This pendant comes with a stainless steel chain resistant to tarnish (cannot be converted to other jewelry types), emphasizing its quality and completeness as a miniature art piece.
