The product is an original Vietnam War era 1917 Bolo knife made in Japan by Kiffe, featuring a WWI Brauer Bros 1917 scabbard. This collectible militaria item holds historical significance as a piece of equipment used during the Vietnam War (1961-75). Its original craftsmanship and country of origin make it a valuable and unique addition to any collection focused on military memorabilia from the era. Overall very good condition. It is missing the top rivet on the back side of the handle and the handle had been reinforced with rope. Someone did an excellent job reinforcing it. Also there is a crack in the bottom corner of the handle. See photos.
