Includes black-and-white photos and many stories from  the people of Costa Rica, including their origins, the founding of the communities of Cahuita and Old Harbor (Puerto Viejo), their values, customs, and more. Several scuffs on cover and tape on back cover. Top of page ends and some pages have foxing (brownish spots) and some soiling. One page is dog-eared but text is clean and unmarked. See photos.
