Viewing my other listings will show you what I have been collecting for the past half century. While I was doing that, my wife was building a career as a Floral Artist, Demonstrator and Teacher. This is one of the books from her Floral Art collection, there are others listed.
Published in 1994, this 192 page full glossy book is the story of Gregor Lersch's retrospective into the beginnings of his floristry adventures. The book is large with colour designs on each page and is in excellent condition.

The first page includes a unique hand
drawn illustration of a vase with floral display, the handwritten text “to
Kathleen Cheshire Area March 1996” along with the handwritten signature of “Gregor
Lersch”

Condition is Excellent. Moderate
corner wear on back bottom LH side.
Otherwise very minor edge and corner wear, tight spine, fully intact.
Colour remains clean, bright and unblemished. Internally there is a feint remnant
of a label on the frontespiece, otherwise all pages are unblemished, clean,
white, bright undimmed by their 25 years. All firmly attached to spine.
This book is rarely sold with its
original dust-jacket, it is usually discarded after the first decade. However,
in our case it has survived, it is made of transparent paper which is
a worn with many creases and a few tears.
It has done its job as the book is in just such a good condition.

Gregor Lersch was born in 1949 in Bad
Neuenahr, Germany and is a renowned designer in the field of international
floristry. Gregor Lersch has won many national and international awards and
prizes in the field of floristry. Gregor believes that floristry must be
suitable for forming part of our lives, and should be in line with the
diversity of environment. He is the
author of many inspirational books on floristry design and travels the world
promoting European design, demonstrating and inspiring florist and floral
artists.
Gregor's concept of combining all
styles, architecture, social components, design trends and personality of the
artist in floristic work is successful throughout the world.
To date, Gregor has been working in 32
countries and thus he is one of the few interpreters in the world of floral
creativity, with such a wide degree of distribution.
