Up for auction is a beautiful cover from Gertrude Gromberger in the Jewish ghetto in Shanghai China to Mr. F. Gebr in New York City USA. Great cancels and markings. In excellent  condition. Priced to sell. Postmarked February 16, 1948.  Before and during world war 2 many Jews fleeing Nazi persecution took refuge in Shanghai China forming a ghetto. After the war, with the Nazi's defeated, and civil war in China heating up, many sought to go to Palestine or the USA.
