The EG&G ORTEC Model 469 High Voltage Shutdown Interface is a protective device designed for use with ORTEC photon detectors and high-voltage bias supplies. Its primary function is to prevent damage to the input FET and detector surfaces in the event that the detector warms up while high voltage is still applied.
