Mastro de Paja came out of Pesaro when Italy was finding its voice in pipe design, blending the curves of Danish freehands with the polish and precision of Italian craft. This tomato you’ve got here shows exactly why they stood out—fat and balanced like a ripe fruit, grain running clean across the bowl, stem set low and proud with that glowing red finish that only Mastro could pull off. It’s part sculpture, part instrument, built to sit easy in the hand and smoke cool. The 3C + 1 Sun grade marks it as solidly in their upper tier, where the workshop’s best cutters worked the briar just long enough to make it sing. Stem is 9/10. Come and take it.

My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus UPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion
