Paper with ample margins, but a bit browned and rather soiled. Faint staining and some spotting. Lacking a portion of the margin in the upper right corner (also affecting the upper part of the image), repaired using later paper. Mounted onto later paper. Note: dimensions reflect the plate mark. Dimensions: 166 x 112 mm. Jacques Cujas was Scholar, Teacher, Legal expert, Legal humanist, Lecturer on Justinian, Professor of law at Cahors, Counsellor to the parlement of Grenoble, and Lecturer on civil law at the University of Paris.
