This auction is for a Trico "S" type (Super) Wiper motor with the very rare crested valve cover and chrome flat plates on top.

The crested and plate type Trico S motors only came on high end vehicles including among others, Cord L-29 open, 1930-31 Cadillac Open and Stutz. This one had Stutz handwritten on the tag when I got it. I cannot find exact fit given the 2 1/32" Shaft, but for sure it was a beautiful, open, high end Big Classic.

I have cleaned, re-greased and gasketed this motor. It does not and will not run. The castings are just too badly warped. 

It is good for 1 of 2 things:

(1)Mount it as is for a non working, but era correct prop on a survivor car with original chrome

(2) The more likely use is a donor for the super hard to get parts to "Build" a new one out of an NOS Jeep Motor.

The Crucial parts to be had are:

2 Flat Covers on top.

Special Valve Cover with crest (the most important and valuable part).

Correct Screws for Valve cover that countersink, as well the correct larger diameter motor screws.

Hand wiper Handle (I installed an NOS one).

This motor and a Jeep Motor provide the ingredients to build a working motor after much difficult work and plating. Good Luck.
