Item Description

A white polo shirt with blue and yellow stripes that was previously owned by Freddie Mercury. It has ‘ZOZ’ embroidered on the front and a ZOZ By Nassau brand label on the neck. Provenance: the polo shirt was previously sold as part of Lot 2175 in the Freddie Mercury: A World Of His Own / Crazy Things 2 sale held at Sotheby’s, New Bond Street, London on 13th September 2023. This item comes with a signed certificate of authenticity on Tracks Ltd. letterhead stating this and also the original Sotheby’s auction tag. The shirt measures 45cm (17.7 inches) from armpit to armpit and 63cm (24.8 inches) from the back of the neck to the hem. There are stains around the bottom and some wear to the material. The condition is very good.

Our Grading System Explained

Mint = As new. Near Mint = Almost like new with one or two very minor flaws. Excellent = Minor wear yet looks attractive and is perfectly usable . Very Good = Some wear and tear but overall presentable and usable. Good = Apparent wear and tear but with obvious deterioration of the condition. Poor = Extremely worn. A plus or minus after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
