**This is a charming and rare complete set of 12 vintage handmade quilt blocks, featuring the beloved themes from the "12 Days of Christmas" carol. Each block is meticulously crafted using a combination of fabric appliqué, embroidery, and occasional three-dimensional elements, showcasing beautiful craftsmanship. Such attention to detail! A truly unique find for quilters, collectors of vintage textiles, or those who appreciate quality handmade crafts.

Appliqué Technique: The designs are created with numerous pieces of vibrant, patterned fabrics (polka dots, small florals, calico prints) against a light background fabric, giving them a delightful, layered, and textural look.

Hand-Embellished Details: Many blocks feature beautiful hand embroidery for facial features, outlines, veins on leaves, and decorative accents. The Maid a-Milking block, for instance, has a finely stitched face and tiny black beads for buttons on her bodice and shoes.

Three-Dimensional Elements: All of the blocks include an element of stuffed applique that gives a "puffy" look to them. Many incorporate small, interesting additions for texture and sparkle, such as:

Gold-tone cord/cording  and rings on the Drummer Drumming block. Yarn or thick thread details, like the twisted trim around the cap of the Maid a-Milking figure. Lace, metallic trim and other fine hand embroidered details.

Signed and Dated: The Drummer Drumming block is visibly signed and dated "JA-AN 1982"

Pattern & Instructions: Also includes copies of the original hand drawn paper patterns and instructions for making the quilt.

**Condition: The blocks appear to be in excellent vintage condition, consistent with their age. They are untrimmed, retaining raw edges, and ready for a collector to trim, border, and assemble into a quilt, wall hanging, or other textile project. Minor fraying on raw edges and very light handling marks may be present, which is typical for vintage unfinished blocks.
