Vintage 1963 Deluxe Jointer/Planer by Rockwell Delta
- Good condition especially given its age (see condition section of listing for detail)
- From the time period when Rockwell owned Delta and made superior, nearly indestructible power tools
- This jointer is NOT a lighter weight, budget-friendly, Rockwell Delta Homecraft product intended for hobbyists, it is a Rockwell Delta product intended for professionals.
- This jointer is NOT a Delta Milwaukee variation which tools produced under that brand name occurred in the early 1980s after Pentair acquired the Delta name and the Rockwell name was dropped.
This is a professional, post-war, pre-Pentair, non-Homecraft, very heavy, Rockwell Delta jointer which will likely outlive you and I.
- Convienent single phase, but with a powerful 1 HP motor
- Sturdy cast steel or iron construction with matching base/stand
- 6" cutting table
- Vintage and cool in each detail of its design
- Reasonable BIN listing price
- No sales tax paid to state of purchase (buyer's state likely differs)
- Willing to work with your shipping arrangements and prepare it to your specifications for shipment
This item is extremely heavy. Shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. We were unable to find an instruction manual for a 1963 37-220 model, but managed to find one for a 37-220 from 1977 for reference. Its a close match. It is a Canadian printing so you'll find that the manual is also in French. Keeping in mind that the manual is 18 years later than the jointer manufacture date and some information may not be applicable including certain power specs or safety features. For power specs, use the photo of the motor badge which outlines power details. Please use caution when reading the manual given the time difference and country of origin which differs from the jointer in this listing despite being of the same model number.
