PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :Dr.Morepen Povifine-OZ Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Povidone Iodine and Ornidazole. Povidone Iodine is an antiseptic applied on skin that is infected or is likely to get infected. It slowly releases iodine which kills or prevents the growth of infectious microorganisms. Ornidazole is an antibiotic that kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Povifine-OZ is also active against fungi, viruses, protozoa, and yeast. It retains its activity in any condition, at any pH, and also in presence of blood, pus and serum.
