Vintage Catherineholm- Aluminum- enameled Series-Scandinavian decorative 1960's Nordic, Viking tourist plate- tray 12 1/8" across.

HARD TO FIND lovely textured enamel tray /plate from Norway. Made by Catherineholm- foil label on the back.

It has a decorative Scandinavian designs on a metallic brass tone background and black Scandinavian Iconic designs going around the plate.

In the center is the Cathedral of Bodo in a town by the same name in Norway

Diameter: 12 1/8” across x 1.25” tall at the edge and weighs 1 lb. 5 Oz.

For the longest time, I thought Cathrine Holm was a person, you know Cathrine Holm -perhaps, you did too! Cathrineholm is actually the name of the factory outside of Halden, Norway that produced the iconic enamelware pieces from the mid-1950's through the late 1960's.
