A beautiful and highly detailed topographical map of part of the West Riding of Yorkshire. Wapentakes are delineated in outline colour. Churches and Gentleman's Seats are indicated pictorially. Turnpike roads are outlined in bold. Watermills are shown as circles surrounded by dots, lead mines by triangles, iron mines by crosses, coal pits and allum works with circles.
